ACR88 Handheld Portable Smart Card Reader

ACR88 USB Unit
The ACR88 from ACS is a secure, programmable, hand-held smart card terminal with a graphical LCD display, keypad and 2 smart card slots as well as 3 internal SAM/mini-SIM slots. The terminal can operate in connected mode, or in stand-alone battery-powered mode.

Options Available include a Contactless Reader Option or an Area Fingerprint Sensor from UPEK.

Approved to EMV level 1, this terminal can be used for a wide variety of applications. Stand-alone applications can be programmed using a simple interpreted scripting language.

Developers of new applications will typically purchase the ACR88 SDK first.
