Ordering Policy - International Shipment

Please review our International Shipment Policy for orders being delivered outside of the United States. Artemis Solutions Group (ASG Global inc) endeavors to satisfy all of our customers throughout the world.

For deliveries of ASG products to Canada from the United States and as a condition of entry of the product(s) into the country, and delivery to the consumer, the FULL payment of PST (Provincial Sales Tax), GST (General Sales Tax) and a Customs Clearance Fee is required by all carriers.  These fees are remitted by ASG to the shipping companies and then are funneled through to the appropriate taxing authorities within Canada. 

To comply with these regulations, ASG charges the appropriate PST, GST and a $25.00US customs clearance fee in addition to regular shipping costs for all orders going to Canada. (except those orders that should be rightfully tax exempt, whereby the customs clearance fee is the only fee charged or where the customer may choose to use their own customs clearance agent and shipping company prepaid).

The payment of Sales and/or Use Tax and customs clearance fees and documentation outside of the State of Washington and the Country of Canada is the sole responsibility of the purchaser.

To facilitate International Delivery of our Products outside the United States (and US Insular Possessions), please follow the procedure listed below:

International Online order through our website for orders over $500 involving a credit card other than American Express will not be accepted.

  • Download our MS Word International Order form

  • Fill out all information on the form and fax to our office at 360-331-4828

  • Orders may only be shipped using YOUR UPS or FEDEX account number or Prepaid with duty collect.

  • YOU ARE responsible for payment of any Duties, Taxes, Use Tax, VAT, Customs Clearance Fees or other fees for importing your order into your country or to its final destination.

  • We will include 3 copies of the sales invoice on the OUTSIDE of your package for import duty declaration.

  • You are responsible for clearing customs in your country with your preferred broker.

  • We will verify with UPS or FED EX the validity of any account number presented.

  • Fax or email a signed copy of the document to our offices at 360-331-4828 or [email protected]

  • Your order MUST comply with all US Export Regulations and the Import Regulations of your country.

  • US State sales tax will NOT be charged on your purchase.

Payment options for International Orders (Orders outside the US and Canada) are limited to one of the following:

  • Wire Transfer

  • American Express - WORLDWIDE - If the sale is over $500.00 US we require a photocopy of your AMEX card front and back, government ID, and signed authorization to charge your account must be faxed to our office at +1-360-331-4828.

  • VISA / MasterCard / JCB (Australia, Japan and European Union Countries ONLY) - Photocopy of card front and back, government ID, and signed authorization to charge your account must be faxed to our office at +1-360-331-4828. Orders WILL NOT BE PROCESSED WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION. We will mark out the first 12 digits of your credit card number when we approve these documents and place these items in our records.

  • Pre-Payment by US Certified Funds - Mailed to our office at ASG Sales, PO Box 403, Freeland, WA 98249. Please send a copy of your order form with payment.

Orders shipped outside the United States do not qualify for return authorization. Items held in customs by receiving country will NOT be reimbursed.

Due to Government Regulations issued by the US State Department some of our products may not be available for International delivery or for delivery to unauthorized individuals. These limitations are listed on the Internet at:

Due to sanctions authorized by the US Government, we will NOT accept ANY orders from countries/organizations listed below:

  • Cuba

  • Iran

  • Libya

  • Korea (North)

  • Syria

  • Organizations or Individuals identified as being allied with the organization known as Al Qaeda.

  • Organizations or Individuals identified as being allied with the organization known as Hezbollah.

  • Other Countries, Organizations or Individuals as decreed by US Presidential Order, US Law or Sanction.

Orders for product will not be accepted from Nations or organizations defined as trade sanctioned by OFAC http://www.treas.gov/ofac

Orders or requests for quotations that do not conform to the following US Government OAC guidelines will NOT be accepted and will be reported to the OAC. http://www.bis.doc.gov/antiboycottcompliance/Default.htm

Why? - The anti-boycott provisions of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) apply to all "U.S. persons," defined to include individuals and companies located in the United States and their foreign affiliates. These persons are subject to the law when their activities relate to the sale, purchase, or transfer of goods or services (including information) within the United States or between the U.S. and a foreign country. This covers U.S. exports and imports, financing, forwarding and shipping, and certain other transactions that may take place wholly offshore.

Generally, the TRA applies to all U.S. taxpayers (and their related companies). The TRA's reporting requirements apply to taxpayers' "operations" in, with, or related to boycotting countries or their nationals. Its penalties apply to those taxpayers with foreign tax credit, foreign subsidiary deferral, FSC (Foreign Sales Corporation), and IC-DISC (Interest Charge-Domestic International Sales Corporation) benefits.

Due to political instability, potential fraud and other mitigating factors, Biometrics Direct as a policy does not accept ANY orders from the following countries / regions:

  • The Continent of Africa (with the exception of Egypt and South Africa)

  • Nigeria

  • Yemen

  • Myanmar

  • Other regions or nations as decided by Artemis Solutions Group's Internal Policy

Some hardware and software may be restricted by the manufacturer or the US Government to domestic delivery. If this is the case with an item on your order, we will contact you by email detailing the limitations imposed on a particular product in our inventory and offer you the opportunity to purchase a different product or cancel your order. You may be required to affirm in writing the final destination of any product sold for export purchased from Artemis Solutions Group.
